It's hard to believe that year has passed since September 11, 2001. I remember the events of that day as vividly as if they occurred only moments ago. I will never forget how I felt when my father woke me up that morning. I will never forget the feeling of disbelief I felt as I watched the World Trade Center towers fall. An eerie feeling crept over me that night as I lied in bed. It was the first time in my life that I listened carefully to the sounds of air traffic. A chill ran down my spine as I realized that every plane I heard that night was going to the same place.

On this, the one-year anniversary of the most horrific terrorist attack in human history, let us honor the victims and the heroes of September 11. Let us never forget their sacrafices; let us stand united in defense of freedom.

God bless America. Hooah!
