So, it seems I'm allergic to penicillin...isn't that splendid? Mmm for being allergic to what's in most medications. I rock!!!! Aren't you so glad I shared that? Wee for posting personal information for all to see.

Well, it's been a while since I rambled and I guess I really haven't had much to talk about lately. Nothing really exciting happens in my life I guess. Last week was pretty crappy; I got sick and had to go on medication (which I found out that I'm allergic to as stated above). My boss gave me shit for calling in sick for TWO DAYS and then a ton of projects were dumped into my lap. Then, to top things off, some psychopath at work wants to kill me (seriously). So that's fun...I mean, that's funny. I really need a vacation.

Speaking of vacations, less than 15 days until I get to see Nicole!!!!! I am so excited, you don't even know. I've been thinking about this trip every day since I planned it and what seemed so far away a while ago is now almost here. The best part is, I realized (with Nicole's help) that I don't need to be home as soon as I had planned so I gave Delta a call this afternoon and extended my trip by a couple days. Even though Delta's planes are cramped I must say that they rock! They didn't charge me anything for modifying my trip; apparently if you don't change where you're going and only the date/time then there's no change fee. Freakin 'awesome! Of course, even if they wanted to charge me another $200 I would have paid because it's worth any amount to spend even an extra hour with her. It's been over a year since I've seen her and I can't even put into words how much I miss her.

The weather still sucks here. Yup, that's right...it's January 15 and 78 degrees out. Absolutely disgusting. It's no wonder I can't get over this cold (or whatever it is I have)...it's generally 80 degrees outside during the day and then it dips down into the 30s at night. Then the weather will randomly decide to go back to being mild (low 60s) and sometimes it'll even decide to rain a little...of course, after a day or two of that it goes back to being 80. Southern California sucks (but not as much as New Jersey) ;)

Time to get back to work. So much to do and so little time to do it in, but if I can finish everything major up before I leave in two weeks then my boss says I can take as much time off as I want (and I won't have to have that gnawing feeling of unfinished business while I'm away trying to enjoy life). For now, it's back to the grind...
