Wow, it sure has been a long time since I last updated this site. My apologies to those who have gotten sick of seeing the same old stuff here for the past couple of months as well as my thanks to those of you who have kept coming back in spite of the stale content.
As you can see by the new IOTD (taken outside of our apartment), winter has arrived in force. The new season also has brought with it many new developments in my world. For starters--after much searching--I have finally found a job that I finally enjoy, working as an EMT for
Rural/Metro Rochester. R/M currently holds the 911 contract for the City of Rochester so I get to spend my days (actually, I work mostly nights) responding to medical emergencies that come through the city's 911 system. So far it has been a very exciting and rewarding experience.
Last week Nicole and I went down to Long Island/NYC to spend Thanksgiving with her family. It was so nice to finally experience some culture and emmerse ourselves in civilization. It has been difficult to adapt back to the slow pace of Chili after spending time in the city that never sleeps. I guess it's time to settle back into our normal routine.
Well, I should get things in order for work tomorrow. I'll definitely get back into the habit of keeping the site updated. I'm also working on getting some new photo galleries online. Stay tuned...
