Minor Enhancements to the SiteI have just completed some minor enhancements to the photo-related sections of the site.
Instead of the most recently-added photo album sitting under the "image of the day" section indefinitely, new photo album links will only appear on this page for a period of 14 days after they are added. If it has been longer than 14 days since a new photo album has been added to the site, this section will display a link to any old albums that have been updated within the past 14 days. If no additions or updates have taken place within the past two weeks, no photo link will appear below the image of the day. No longer will you see the same photo link on this page for months at a time, ensuring that whenever you see something here it is new and exciting(?).
When viewing the main photos section (found by clicking the photos link at the top of this page) you will now see a prominent label indicating which albums have been updated within the past two weeks in addition to simply seeing which albums are brand new. Recently updated and new albums will always appear the top of the list.
I hope that these changes will make the site a little more user-friendly. I also hope that my long-winded explanation of the updates makes sense. Sometimes I tend to ramble. ;)
