On June 20, 2004 my partner and I were on the way to pick up a patient in Bath, NY when our ambulance decided that it had done enough. As the "service engine soon" light illuminated the cab began to fill with black smoke. I quickly pulled off to the side of the road (about 1 1/2 hours south of Rochester) and we jumped out of the rig. As we waited for a tow truck to arrive, we had a little fun with the camera...

Incidentally, it's sad how photos never seem to do an event justice. In retrospect, I guess you just had to be there.
