On Sunday, September 25, 2005 Nicole and I took the LIRR to the 7 subway to meet up with my cousin Naomi who recently moved to Sunnyside, Queens. There we also found Nik Ammar, guitarist for the London-based band Oi Va Voi. After a food-filled day (and a mad dash from San Genaro Festival in Little Italy to Riverside Park) we spent the evening at the 2005 Jewish Heritage and Musica Festival's Jewzapalooza. Oi Va Voi gave an awesome performance. Can't wait for their next album!
