As many of you have probably noticed, my website was down for the past week and a half. Although I've managed to get it back up, the platform that it's running on right now is only a temporary back-up server. It seems that while I was out of town on some family business the CPU fan on my server decided to stop working and as a result my CPU and motherboard ended up getting fried. As it currently stands, I don't have any money to replace these two components (probably need about $250 - $300) and therefore I have no idea when my full server capacity will be returned.

For those of you who host sites on my server or who take advantage of FTP access, you can do your part now by donating to my "Get out of Chili Fund" by clicking on the PayPal link in the lower left of this page. New donations, unless specified otherwise, will go toward getting my server repaired so that I can continue hosting to the masses. This website probably won't be up much longer on the back-up server so any help would be appreciated. Of course, hardware donations would also be accepted. Needed is an Athlon CPU and motherboard. Please e-mail me at scott@webinteractive.net if you can help.

In the meantime, I have to go dig my car out of 2 1/2 feet of snow. Gotta love winter here. I shall return in a few hours with a more comprehensive update.

Ah, Jesus and his apostles are at it again; but this time I really can't complain since it is almost two o'clock in the afternoon. I got home from work this morning at 3:00 in the morning (after getting to work at 11:30 in the previous morning). Nevertheless, work was pretty good last night considering that I got to drive code 3 (with lights and siren for those of you who aren't up on the codespeak) for the first time ever! Although I still don't really know where I'm going in Rochester and was a little bit nervous about it (I'm not ashamed to admit that), it was still an awesome experience and yes...very cool!

Well, time to start my day after sleeping half of it away (hooray for 14-hour shifts). I'll try and start working on getting photos from the "office" to spice up the site with.

Happy New Year everyone!
